On March 29, 2025, the Vietnam – Brazil Economic Forum was solemnly held at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, on the occasion of the official visit of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to Vietnam.

The event was attended and addressed by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, President Lula da Silva, leaders of various ministries and agencies, as well as over 300 businesses from both countries. This forum served as an important opportunity to strengthen economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Vietnam and Brazil.
