Held on August 24-25, 2026, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, the 7th National Delegate Congress of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, for the 2026-2031 term, brought together more than 600 delegates under the theme “Unleashing the Power of Cooperation – Creating New Drivers for Development – Advancing with the Nation Towards a Prosperous and Happy New Era.”

The Congress marked an important transition for the collective and cooperative economy, shifting its focus from quantitative growth toward quality, efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainable development. In line with this direction, the new term will focus on strengthening value-chain linkages, digital transformation, green transformation, and innovation, creating new momentum to enhance the value and competitiveness of the collective economic sector.

To translate these orientations into action, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance aims to develop a professional and modern support ecosystem, strengthen management capacity, improve access to capital and science and technology, and establish a solid foundation for cooperatives to grow sustainably in the new era.
