At Melia Hotel, Hanoi, the 8th ASEAN Ministers Meeting on Sports (AMMS-8) and related meetings were held with the participation of more than 200 delegates from 10 ASEAN member countries, Timor-Leste, the ASEAN Secretariat, and international sports organizations.

As the rotating Chair and host country, Viet Nam showed an active and positive role in promoting regional sports cooperation, aiming to build a united and sustainable ASEAN Community through sports and solidarity.
