Held on July 24–25, 2026, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association (VUPDA) successfully convened its 6th National Delegate Congress for the 2026–2031 term, bringing together government leaders, industry experts, researchers, and association members from across the country. The Congress not only reviewed the achievements of the previous term but also established a new strategic direction under the theme “Unity – Innovation – Wisdom – Proactiveness – Sustainable Development.”

With innovation and digital transformation at its core, the Congress identified key priorities for the new term, focusing on enhancing the quality of urban planning, strengthening the Association’s role in consultation and policy advocacy, and supporting the development of a greener, smarter, and more sustainable urban system in Vietnam.
