On the evening of July 28, 2024, at Lạch Tray Stadium in Hai Phong City, the opening ceremony of the 10th National Phu Dong Sports Festival took place, with the participation of 10,000 athletes, coaches, and more from 63 provinces and cities directly under the central government.

Inspired by the image of the “Búp Măng Non” (Young Bamboo Shoot) – a symbol representing the youth of Vietnam, the future generation of the nation, and also symbolizing young people full of enthusiasm, with ever-growing strength to shoulder the responsibility of protecting and building the country in the future – Nguyen Le illuminated the festival with a delicate light art piece displayed on LED screens. This featured a fiery red torch tower with the image of the young bamboo shoot connected to the “V” symbol, conveying the message of “victory” at the central cluster of the stage.
