Held over July 18–19, 2026, the 10th Delegate Congress of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha – Hanoi Chapter, for the 2026–2031 term, concluded successfully at the Vietnam–Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace under the theme “Buddhism Accompanying the Development of a Civilized, Modern, and Happy Capital.”

The Congress marked a significant milestone for the Buddhist community in Hanoi, reviewing the achievements of Buddhist affairs during the 2022–2026 term while setting strategic directions for the 2026–2031 term. The event also appointed the Executive Board for the new term, with Most Venerable Thích Bảo Nghiêm reappointed as Head of the Executive Board. In addition, numerous organizations and individuals were recognized for their outstanding contributions to Buddhist activities and community development.
