From the evening of March 28, the atmosphere at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel began to buzz with excitement. The stage was set, and Thai-themed food, shopping, and cultural booths were ready to welcome visitors on a journey to explore Thailand right in the heart of Hanoi!

During the Festival’s Opening Ceremony, delegates participated in the traditional Thai Loy Krathong lantern-floating ritual, sending wishes of luck, happiness, and peace to all.

Hanoi is one of only six cities worldwide selected by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs to host this large-scale festival, aimed at deeply promoting Thai culture to the capital’s public. The festival will remain open from March 28 to 30, featuring a wide range of free activities, including cultural performances, a T-Pop & traditional music mini concert, a Thai food paradise, an outdoor cinema, and a lucky draw with a chance to win 0-đong flight tickets to Thailand!
