On the afternoon of January 29, 2026, the international conference on building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and developing Vietnam–Laos border was held with the participation of leaders from the Front organizations of both countries and border localities.

The conference served as an opportunity to exchange experiences and review past cooperation results, while reaffirming the important role of the Front in strengthening the special solidarity and long-lasting relationship between the people of Vietnam and Laos.
