On March 18, 2026, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with JICA Vietnam, organized a conference on policy-based loans for green transition, aiming toward green growth and climate change adaptation, with the participation of various ministries, sectors, and businesses from both countries.

As Vietnam moves toward its goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, the conference marked an important step in strengthening Vietnam–Japan cooperation, enhancing climate resilience, and promoting sustainable development.
