On the morning of July 11, 2026, a solemn ceremony commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Security Force (July 12, 1946 – July 12, 2026), together with the Presentation Ceremony of the Gold Star Order, was held in Hanoi. Organized by the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, the event was attended by General Secretary and President Tô Lâm, who delivered a keynote address recognizing the People’s Security Force’s outstanding contributions to safeguarding national security and ensuring peace and stability for the people.

Held in celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Security Force, the ceremony marked a significant milestone in honoring the force’s proud legacy, remarkable achievements, and the enduring dedication of generations of officers and personnel. The conferment of the Gold Star Order—the highest distinction awarded by the Party and the State—further affirmed the People’s Security Force’s exceptional contributions to the cause of national construction and defense.
