On December 25, 2024, in Hanoi, Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre celebrated its 55th anniversary and was honored to receive the Third-Class Labor Medal from the Party and the State.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Tạ Quang Đông and Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Vũ Thu Hà, marking an important milestone in the theatre’s journey. As a symbol of traditional Vietnamese art, Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre continues to embody the rich cultural heritage of Thang Long – Hanoi.
