On the evening of May 30, 2023, in Hanoi, the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Independence of the State of Israel (1948 – 2023) and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Israel (1993). – 2023).

Attending the ceremony were: Deputy Foreign Minister Ha Kim Ngoc, Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam Yaron Mayer and leaders of a number of ministries, departments, branches and foreign representative agencies in Vietnam.

Ambassador Yaron Mayer said that after 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the relationship between Vietnam and Israel has developed strongly in many fields of economy and technology. High-level visits, cultural exchanges and people-to-people dialogue have further consolidated the Vietnam-Israel friendship, promoted mutual understanding, and provided learning opportunities and enhanced tourism for people of the two countries.
