On September 29, 2020, the General Department of Customs announced the implementation of the National Single Window (NSW) system for incoming aircraft and the automatic monitoring and management system of imported goods by air in Vietnam. Customs Department at Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi Customs Department).

After more than 2 years of pilot implementation, the national single-window system for incoming aircraft and the automatic monitoring and management system of imported air cargo at Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch has met the goals and requirements set out, achieved many results.

On the basis of summarizing lessons learned from pilot implementation at the Hanoi Customs Department, the Customs authority focused on research to further improve the system, research and expand the deployment nationwide; at the same time, research, expand and apply this system to manage and monitor road cargo in the coming time.
